cross-posted from The Little Room ~ cuz this is the very first time, my dollie blog earned me a freebie , a food tasting @ The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Waterfront KK. Thanks to Julian who passed out this information about giving 10 bloggers a previledge to try out their new food & beverages promotion.
I used the same pattern as for Aeyra in the previous log to sew for Tiara (1/4 scale size) ^^ but this time, i choose a different fabric to try, finally use one of my favourite fabric for sewing~ i've been keeping this for so long *lolz* it's TIME to make good use of it before it grow mushrooms on it~ XD;;;
First time sewing for a big girl~ ^^ all thanks to this wonderful pattern book by Chang Hsiu Mei that I bought from my last Hong Kong trip , saved me from drafting from scratch, and pretty easy steps to follow too ^^ Still got more of the pattern to try out soon ^^ And I am glad Aeyra looks fine in this dress too, tho my dress is so much simplifed from the one that's made by Chang Hsiu Mei (cuz every pattern comes with photos of the doll with the dress on).
Unfortunately, not much my takes from Comic Fiesta 2008 , cuz i m stuck in booth most of the time T_T i hope other friends and chan-gars got take some pic and share with me soon pweease~~ thank you very very muchie~~~
she receive some wonderful gift from haruyama and Crystal-chan gar & Sefa 3 days before her bday XD;;; thank you thank you very muchie *bows* it simply made her day ^_^
as for me, i've made her a simple vanilla cake for her birthday~ XD; first time doing such kind of cake XD;;; a bit cacat *lolz*
